Pep Tosar
Artistic Director
Pep Tosar is an actor, director, playwright, and theater producer, born in Artà, Mallorca, in 1961.
During the 1980s, he participated as an actor in several performances at the Teatre Lliure. In 1993 he premiered his monologue Sa història des senyor Sommer, an adaptation of the novel of the same name by Patrick Süskind.
Since then, he has devoted most of his time to producing his own shows, which he directs and stars in, and which are often adaptations of literary texts: Somnis de somnis, based on the stories of Antonio Tabucchi; Nocturn, also based on texts by Tabucchi, Amb la claredat augmenta el fred, based on texts by Thomas Bernhard, Molts records per a Ivanov, based on Ivanov by Anton Chekhov or Qui bones obres farà, based on The Cherry Orchard and The Seagull, also by Chekhov. In 1998, he premiered his first biographical show, titled La casa en obres, based on the life and work of the poet Blai Bonet. After this, following a similar narrative pattern, came Esquena de Ganivet, about the poet Damià Huguet; Tots aquests dois, about the poet and singer Guillem d’Efak; Federico García, about Lorca; The Pretender, about Fernando Pessoa, or Vientos del Pueblo, about the poet Miguel Hernández.
Tosar has acted in numerous national and international film productions, including the recent El cuerpo en llamas, Mallorca Confidencial, The König vom Palma, or The Majorca Files or Operación Meansmeet.
Evelyn Arévalo
General Director
An actress licensed at the Institut del Teatre, she has also developed her career as a playwright, director, and stage producer.
As an actress, she is part of some of Tosar’s most relevant shows, such as La casa en obres, El mestre i Margarita, Somnis de Somnis, or Qui bones obres farà. She was one of the protagonists of Automàtics, the show that Javier Daulte created and directed in Barcelona, and of the monologues Carrer de Txernòbil, directed by Joaquim Armengol, and El regne de les dones, directed by Joan Fullana.
As a playwright and director, she creates the shows Oblideu-vos de nosaltres, Normes de la desesperació, La suma i la resta, and La ciutat llunyana, and collaborates with Pep Tosar on the dramaturgies of Poseu-me les ulleres, Amb la claredat augmenta el fred, Federico García, The Pretender, and Vientos del pueblo.
Montse Enguita
Management and Production Head
Montse Enguita is a multidisciplinary producer with over 30 years of experience in performing arts, events, music, and audiovisuals. In 1996, she joined Vania Produccions, where she worked until 2012.
She has done international tours in countries such as China, the United States, Brazil, Argentina, Colombia, India, France, and Germany.
She has collaborated with directors such as Magüi Mira, Andrés Lima, Paco Mir, Helena Tornero, or Josep Costa, among others. She combines production and direction with teaching at centers such as El Timbal, Eòlia, and EAEM. She also gives masterclasses, advice, and seminars specialized in production.
She is a founding member of Cia. Ad Hoc, with which she has premiered several shows.
Among her recent works are “L’enterrador”, “Dona i aspirador(a)”, and the international project WIRE with “Caure – To fall”. She recently premiered “Vientos del Pueblo”, currently on tour and with a scheduled season at Teatre Raval.
Sandra Costa
Communication
Sandra Costa is a communicator with over 25 years of experience in the cultural sector. In 2008, she embarked on her own business project, creating the agency LA COSTA. She holds a degree in Advertising and Public Relations from UAB and completed a Postgraduate in Cultural Management from UOC. She teaches postgraduate and master’s courses in Cultural Management and Management of the Music Industry at UB and IL3-UB.
Before creating LA COSTA, she was part for many years of the performing arts field, leading the press areas of various theaters in Barcelona (Teatre Poliorama, Teatre Victòria, and Teatre Lliure), or assisting in communication with theater companies like T de Teatre, Titzina Teatro, or Dagoll Dagom. She has also worked for fairs and festivals in the performing arts sector such as FiraTàrrega, Escena Poblenou, Festival Z, Berdache (Gender Art Festival), among many others. Carles Rigual
Technical Head
A professional with over 25 years of experience in lighting design, direction, and technical production in performing arts, events, and audiovisual projects.
He has collaborated with numerous companies, highlighting his trajectory with Erre que Erre Danza and La Fura dels Baus, and is a co-founder of Silver Drops Dansa, where he integrates an artistic and technical vision in the creation of performances. With experience in managing theaters and multidisciplinary spaces, he has coordinated large-format productions as the person in charge of studios at the Netflix hub.
He currently also promotes projects that connect audiovisual companies with international collaborators. He has developed teaching tasks by giving lighting and photography courses.
Aina Oliver
Communication Assistance
Audiovisual creator. She is studying the Degree in Audiovisual Media at Tecnocampus of UPF, with a trajectory focused on the creation, production, and editing of audiovisual content applied to both the academic and professional fields.
Creative, organized, and committed, with the ability to work as a team and plan audiovisual projects. She has participated in television report projects, documentaries, and interview production, taking on roles in camera, script, sound, and editing. She has also worked on musicalization and sound design. In the scenic field, she has collaborated with the company Oblideu-vos de nosaltres in creating and producing the audiovisual image of Vientos del pueblo. Her experience has focused on providing support in the editing and narrative construction of audiovisual pieces linked to the performing arts. She has also worked as a content creator at the agency La Nave Nodriza.
Francina Planas
Trained as a graphic designer at Elisava, she connects to design both as a freelancer and in communication studios and agencies in Barcelona and Milan. She has developed the graphic image of several performances of the company Oblideu-vos de nosaltres, and in 2023 she collaborates with the set designer Roger Orra in constructing the scenography of the show El regne de les dones, designing, creating, and decorating the floral arch that captured the essence of the performance.
An admirer of Flemish painting, her travels to the Netherlands lead her to connect this tradition with contemporary perspectives like those of Bas Meeus or Mary Lennox, where nature and composition acquire a central role. In 2018, she decided to train in floral design and landscaping at the School of Barcelona. Since then, floral creation has become part of her visual language.
Currently, she works as an event florist while combining it with graphic design. Her latest graphic work has been the creation of the new image and visual identity of Teatre Raval.
