In a comedic tone and taking the play Hamlet by William Shakespeare as a model, the show proposes to act the character using seven interpretative techniques, from Grammelot, known since the 5th century, passing through the French school and “the truth” of the Stanislavski method and the Actors Studio of the 20th century, to the performative modernity of our days. In addition to reflecting on how a classical text is constantly re-updated, the piece aims to be a love song to the theatrical profession and a tribute to all the people who have dedicated strength and energy – in good times, bad times, and worse times – to practicing this demanding and passionate art.

“Author, actor, director, the Mallorcan Josep Pere Peyró is brilliant. Like in a jazz variation, with a central element that is Hamlet and his tragic end, the author explores the interpretative possibilities of the Shakespearean text.”
Revista Turia. Silvia Hueso
“His performance is simply magical. Everything flows with naturalness and simplicity, when in reality the execution is complex. He captivates the audience also thanks to a text with lines sprinkled with funny anecdotes and interspersed stories.”
Revista Red Escénica. José Vicente Peyró
“Like a flaneur bouncing down the sidewalk, carefree and ironic, distant and chivalrous, deceitful and dancing, Josep Pere Peyró stands out on stage and becomes intimate with the audience.”
